Skills
- 8+ years of experience in implementing/managing Enterprise Data-warehouse, Decision Support Systems and Business Intelligence solutions
- Experience in Hadoop-related technologies like MapReduce, Cassandra, and similar
- Strong experience with Database Management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server etc.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica is helpful, but hands-on ETL experience using scripts, PL-SQL, SQL Loader is a must
- Proficient in one or more of data modeling tools such as Erwin, Data Architect, and Oracle Designer etc.
- Strong programming skills - at least in one OO language and one scripting language
- ETL experience, as well as data implementation, data storage, access and distribution
- Complete software development lifecycle experience
- Strong PL/SQL development skills
Other
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
- Additional expertise in Lucene search library is a plus
- Consulting experience
- Ability to travel
