As a Senior Application Developer at Taigle, you will be primarily working on an Enterprise Integration Platform utilizing Oracle Application Server and Oracle 11g, in a medium sized team with other talented developers.
What you'll do
- Work with Oracle products and solutions, as part of a Data Warehouse team
- Engage with other developers, product managers & business partners
- Liaise with the technical leads & architects to promote great software design & quality
- Drive innovation by coming up with new & surprising ideas for our products & processes
- Develop awesome new features front to back as part of a team
- Point out issues with the existing architecture & code, & clean it up
Required skills
- Excellent understanding of SOA, Distributed Process Environment, Java development; deep architectural understanding of Java based desktop applications
- Good knowledge in back end technologies like WebServices, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, XML, XSLT, or others
- Strong experience with Oracle 11g, Oracle Application Server and PL/SQL
- Medium level experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, or others
- Hands on experience with development of Rapid Application Development Tools
- 4 to 7 years (or more) in a professional Java development role
- Initiative and the ability to work independently and in a team
- Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills
- Relaxed yet enthusiastic attitude
Preferred skills
- Experience implementing system to system interfaces
- Knowledge of Open Source libraries, tools and frameworks, e.g. for logging, wiring, testing, building. The more the merrier!
- Excitement for the latest trends in application design, new languages and frameworks
